Bespoke media wall/storage cabinets

My clients moved from a bigger property to a smaller apartment.
They needed storage space, and a solution for the limitations their living room wall was posing:
– boxing in on the left, with a utility hatch that needed to stay accessible
– radiator on the right
– fixed wall mounted TV with sockets underneath

They also wanted to add style and warmth to the apartment.

BEFORE: Boxing in (left corner), wall mounted TV (middle) and radiator (right) determine dimensions and placement of wall storage.

AFTER: In the bespoke design the boxing in is integrated into the cabinets.
The wall mounted TV is centred, and the space is maximised, used all the way up to the radiator, leaving just enough space to turn the radiator up and down.

The colour of the cabinets and top harmonise with the new sofa and chair, the floor and the rug.
The utility hatch is still accessible by means of a little door, made especially for this purpose just under the bottom glass shelf.

Integrated LED lighting in the back of the shelving and Ash top.

The lighting is dimmable and programmed to only light certain areas.

Solid Ash top, finished with white oil stain and Osmo top oil. The lighting is integrated inside the back of the top.

Deep and wide drawers.

A wealth of space in the deep bottom cabinets.

More space to display or store in the shallower top cabinets.
