Complete Stairway makeover

A couple with a young child asked me to completely re-design their three floor stairway. From the stairway being a cold and uninspired part of the house (see first photo), they wanted it to become an eye catcher and a pleasant place to walk through from one floor to another. The customers absolutely loved the result (see photos below).
